Another good vintage. The butter level has been decreased while the acid level has increased. Notes of tropical fruit. Medium mouthfeel. Would purchase again.

2006 Airfield Estates Pinot Gris
USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley
Crystal clear with just the faintest hint of color. On the nose there were elements of pear and whipped cream. The palate had more pear and a huge flavor of dried banana chips. Just a little bit of sweetness on the back end, but a good dose of acidity to cut through. Really enjoyable bottle of wine. Would purchase again.
